August 2002: Look for The
Pagan's Muse: Poems of Ritual, Invocation and Inspiration in
your favorite bookstore! Jane is pleased to bring together this collection
of works by poets from around the world, speaking of deity, ritual, love,
passion, loss, nature and more. Some of the poets in this collection are
well-known in the literary world; some are well-known in the Pagan community;
and some appear in print here for the first time. What they have in common
is the ability to speak to the Pagan spirit with their words.
Jane's writing:
In the spring of 2002 arrived Building a Magical
Relationship: The Five Points of Love by Cynthia Jane Collins and
Jane Raeburn. Collins, a nationally accredited family counselor and M.Div.,
and Raeburn combine myth, storytelling and proven techniques for a fascinating
spiritual and emotional exploration of marriage and relationship. Intended
chiefly for Pagans and Wiccans, the ideas in this book are accessible
to anyone seeking a more fulfilling partnership.
Her first book, Celtic Wicca: Ancient Wisdom for
the 21st Century, was published by Citadel Press in October 2001.
More than just another Celtic book, this book establishes a firm distinction
between historical Celtic inspiration and modern Wiccan practice, then
blends the two for a living path of ethical and spiritual growth.
Before this phase of Raeburn's writing career, she was best known for
Jane's Tidings, a column of Wiccan- and Pagan-related news which
she wrote for seven years. She is also active in building Pagan community
in her home state.
